Norman Solomon, who is running for Democratic nomination in Congress, says progressives must, in addition to being in the street, mount a challenge inside the Democratic Party and must be vigilant inside and outside of electoral politics with a determined and robust organizing strategy. The necessary 'paradigm shift' needed, he says, "will only come from the bottom up":
